Repeat Prescriptions

If you take medication regularly, you will receive a tear-off slip with each prescription, listing the items you have been prescribed for repeat use. Please use this slip to request repeat supplies: tick the items you need and return the slip to the surgery. Repeat prescription requests will not normally be taken by telephone as this can lead to mistakes. If you have to phone, please call after 9.30 am.  Please allow at least 2 working days before collecting your prescription

We are also trialling a repeat prescriptions by e-mail service. We must stress that this service is experimental and will be subject to on-going review. We strongly recommend that you read the Notes and Disclaimers (see the menu on the left of the page) before you use the system.

Notes and Disclaimer for patients using the e-mail trial service

This service is for patients who wish to order repeat medication and who have had this previously agreed by their doctor. Requests for unauthorised medication cannot be made using this system and patients will need to see their doctor first.

Sending any information using e-mail via the Internet can potentially be intercepted electronically and seen by others. The practice therefore cannot accept liability for loss of confidentiality to patients using this service. Requests once received at the practice will be dealt in exactly the same way as other repeat medication requests accepted by hand or telephone - with every effort in maintaining confidentiality. The Practice cannot accept responsibility for loss of transmission of their request from electronic failure either through the Internet nor at the practice through failure of electronic equipment.
